We believe in God, who is almighty, and has us call him Father.
We believe he is the creator of all things.
We believe that Jesus Christ is his only Son and our Lord.
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the woman Mary. Jesus lived a perfect life free from sin yet was killed on a cross. He died on the cross to take upon himself the punishment for sin that we all deserve. In dying on the cross he demonstrated the justice of God who will not allow any sin to go unpunished. In dying on the cross he also demonstrated the magnificent love of God who sent his Son into the world so that whoever believes in him may not perish but have eternal life. Jesus Christ also demonstrated his love for us in freely going to the cross to die in our place.
We believe that all people who put their trust in Jesus Christ to be the Lord of their life and trust that his death has saved them from their sins, will be raised to eternal life with God, they will have all their sins forgiven, and they are already considered by God to be his son or daughter.
We believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day after his death and, after appearing to his disciples and to more than five hundred other witnesses over a period of forty days, ascended into heaven.
We believe that he now sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty and has promised to return one day to judge both those now living and those who have died.
We believe that God has sent the Holy Spirit as a seal of salvation for those who follow Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit enables us to know God, to understand God's word, and empowers us to live the lives that God wants us to.
We believe that the Bible is God's fully inspired word and is valuable for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that God's people may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
We believe that the good news about what God has done through his Son Jesus Christ is a message that all people in all places need to hear and respond to.
